Professors and students from the German School of Music Weimar took the stage last night at Seoul Baroque Chamber Hall with international soloist and principal clarinet for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra Maximiliano Martín for Flûte + Clarinette = Rendez-vous in one of the strongest student concerts for the school. Students of flute professor Philipp Jundt, guest flute professor Dorothee Binding, and clarinet professor Matthias Luft gave a diverse program of works by composers ranging from Schumann to Varese to Connesson.
The concert came during what has been a very active semester for GSMW and on the heels of their Graduation Concert set for December 6 at Perigee Hall, Seoul.
